Wallbox Pulsar Plus

Overview

I’ve owned the Wallbox Pulsar Plus for over a year. It lives outdoors through all seasons and has never failed to charge our cars.

Performance

It’s a 48A Level 2 charger. My daily driver can’t use all 48A, but our other two EVs can. I’ve done ~24 hours of back-to-back charging without throttling.

Price

It’s on the pricier side. I wanted full local control and robust hardware—and it delivers.

Build Quality

Looks and feels premium. The internals are essentially a Raspberry Pi, so repairs/upgrades are possible for tinkerers.

My Recommendation

After daily use for a year, I highly recommend it. Reliable, powerful, and built to last.
